One thing that is very important is knowing what your cameras flash range is.That is one mistake that is made by many amateur photographers.  As a professional San Diego photographer, that is a mistake I can’t afford to make.Practically all cameras have range where there flash works best.  The best to know what that range would be is to check the manual.Because if you are beyond your flash range the picture you take will be too dark or too light.So know what your cameras flash range is and you will see your photographs come out looking great.

Next thing you should know is most digital cameras have scene modes.This makes it real easy to have your camera adjusted to it’s surroundings.  This helps me a lot as a San Diego wedding photographer because the scene mode allows me to adjust it to the time of day.Or the adjustment can help it to know if you are inside or outside.This has your camera taking some great photographs.

Last thing you must do when taking pictures is to always have fun.  Of course when I am doing San Diego event photography it is easy to have fun. But when you are taking pictures remember to do it.  It will allow you to be in the right state of mind.That frame of mind will give you the ability to take great photographs.
